The Business Development team works to qualify, engage, and define new opportunities for Naroro. You will utilize your existing network to develop new leads, while constantly driving new connections.
This role will communicate and sell the full range of Naroro’s services to prospective clients. You’ll quickly learn about new businesses and business models, and emerging industries, to convey a keen understanding of how our complete services will help clients define and reach their business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
Nurturing your existing network and developing new connections to give Naroro the best opportunities for work.
Gathering market intelligence on potential clients and partners. Finding the appropriate person to contact, and initiating communication to determine possible opportunities.
Representing Naroro in the earliest stages of new client relationships by being a natural storyteller about the prospect’s work, and Naroro’s process.
Shape and qualify leads to a point where the project is defined. In collaboration with the Creative and Client Services teams, create a final proposal.
Lead meetings to present final proposals to clients.
Travel will be required (3-4 days in Tokyo every 2 to 4 months)
Skills & Abilities
4+ years experience selling agency or consulting services. Experience selling product services.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop a deep understanding of the culture, work style, motivations, and business success factors of potential clients.
Capacity and flexibility to work with a variety of personalities and work styles.
Experience closing deals valued at $200K+
Proven experience closing at least $1MM+ in sales.
Experience in Account or Project Management is a huge plus.
